A Tutorial Approach
This book  gives you an overview of the 3D Studio MAX/VIZ so that you get a good idea of what the software can do for you. At the end of each chapter are a Self-Evaluation Test, Exercises, and Answers to the Self-Evaluation Test. The Self-Evaluation Test can be used by a student to measure up their progress. The Exercises can be used as assignments and are designed and stated in such a way that it makes easier for the students to complete them without any confusion. In addition to the tutorial nature of each chapter, there are two projects at the end of the text. These projects allow you to apply the skills you learned in the text.
